A traffic junction can also be designed in a classy and contemporary way with glass. This is proven by the modernization of the main station in Wuppertal-Elberfeld. A harmonious natural stone façade encloses both a mall and the parking deck. Inside, steel columns not only provide daylight, but also a highly modern design. The all-glass railing system on the access stairs to the parking deck underscores this impression. This order was implemented by MBN Bau Aktiengesellschaft in Georgsmarienhütte, which was also responsible for building the mall and the parking deck. "For us in the construction and project management, only BALARDO steel from GLASSLINE came into question as an all-around carefree package," says Oliver Möllmann, deputy project manager at ARGE Döppersberg.
